With decades of experience in making dials with enameled art, Ulysse Nardin has embarked on the tried and tested route of doing the same for this festive timepiece. The dial of the Classico Horse employs the complicated champlevé method. Champlevé method works by carving the dial with a chisel and filling space with enamel. Using different metallic oxides an earth-tone color palette of black white, tan, gray and green were created to portray a natural landscape. The dial is then fired until the enamel melts and is polished when the surface cooled, resulting in an exceptional work of art. Enameling on the dial was done by celebrated dial-enameller Donzé Cadrans.

The 40mm 18 karats rose gold case is home to the self-winding COSC certified UN-815 movement that powers the Classico Horse. It delivers a power reserve of 42 hours and provides water resistance up to 50m. The movement is visible through its sapphire crystal case back. Giving the watch a perfect finishing touch, it comes fitted with a blue leather strap with rose gold tang buckle.

Limited to 88 pieces, the Ulysse Nardin Classico Horse is created for the free-spirit individual with an independent mind, just like the watchmaker.
