Pokemon Go rage is all over the place to the point your phone battery loses its juice before you see a great monster. This also means occasionally you are left without time when you need it most. Swiss watchmaker RJ-Romain Jerome and The Pokémon Company International have come with an idea to solve this problem – a limited edition RJ X Pokémon Pikachu watch. That is if you have the means to afford a watch from Romain Jerome.

It is not just the Pokémon Go, as it happens Pokémon turns 20 this year, hence the 20-piece limited edition and the £20,000 (about $25,000) price tag. Time flies and waits for nobody, next year Pikachu and friends can buy beer without fear in all 50 US states.

A smiling appliqued Pikachu and the lightning bolt in bright yellow reside on top of the dial, both figures are hand painted in cold enamel. Pikachu dial and the movement are housed in a 46mm Moon Invader-model titanium case. While the articulated lugs and the integrated ball-and-socket joints on case offer the wearer better wrist adjustment. Aesthetics of the timepiece is enhanced by the vulcanized rubber strap, in signature Pikachu yellow.

Powered by a Caliber RJ001-A with mechanical self-winding movement, RJ X Pokémon Pikachu feature a PVD-coated screw-lock crown, 23 jewels, water resistant and 42-hours of power reserve. The black DLC-coated baseplate received its own decoration by way of the engraved lightning bolt pattern, sand-blasted or satin-brushed to create depth. Limited edition number and Pokémon logo are displayed on the back.

Company’s press release said, “This collection is the perfect combination of each brand’s DNA: the star of Pokémon is paired with RJ-Romain Jerome’s star model, the Moon Invader.”

If you are not that into the vulcanized yellow strap, the firm also offers few other options including the Moon Invader Black/Black Vulcan leather and Moon Invader Black Fabric versions.
