RJ-Romain Jerome has added new timepieces for its popular Titanic-DNA collection. With five new colorful and sporty timepieces, the Steampunk Chrono Colors Collection add more verve to the Titanic-DNA collection with a retro-futuristic design.
The bezel is made with polished steel from Titanic wreck lying 3840 meters beneath the ocean, and steel from the same shipyard that built the Titanic in Belfast, Harland, and Wolff. Mirror-polished bezel and case add radiance to the model, the inner bezel ring is colored in bright colors of yellow, red, blue, green and orange. The minutes counter hand and the over stitching on the black alligator leather strap also pick up the color of the inner bezel ring. Housed within a 50 mm-diameter case, it holds 330 parts held by four screwed pistons. Self-winding movement is endowed with a 42-hour power reserve.
With a limited edition of only 99 pieces of each color made, Steampunk Chronos are accompanied by matching accessories of the brand. On this occasion, the steel cufflinks appear in five new color versions issued in two 99-piece limited series. A mobile propeller echoing the three propellers of the Titanic has been placed on a steel disc that is yellow, red, blue, green or orange painted depending on the version and contains steel from the Titanic as for the bezels of the timepieces. Titanic-DNA cufflinks are priced at $600 while the Steampunk Chrono Colors is priced at $15,950.
