Etihad Airways has opened their latest luxury lounge for First and Business Class travelers at Sydney’s Kingsford Smith International Airport. This is Etihad’s first premium lounge in Australia. Design inspired by airline’s flagship lounges in Abu Dhabi, its comfortable and relaxing surroundings offer a range of services. Located in the international terminal’s Pier C, adjacent to Gate 51, the lounge has 798 square meters of space set over two levels.
Designed around the principles of style, space, and serenity, the lounge offers a place for passengers a place to relax, re-energize, dine, work or be entertained before they board their flight. Dining options offered include Etihad’s famous food and beverages services, with a choice of restaurant-style a la carte dining and a lavish buffet. Wines, beers, champagne, aperitifs, spirits, and liqueurs are also provided.
A full range of conveniences are provided to business and leisure travelers alike. They include Apple computers, Wi-Fi, multi-zone electrical and USB power outlets, male and female prayer rooms, male and female bathrooms with shower facilities, children’s playroom, and a relaxation zone with comfortable armchairs.
The Sydney premium lounge is open to Etihad Airways Diamond First Class and Pearl Business Class guests and qualifying members of the Etihad Guest loyalty program. Service is also offered to Virgin Australia Velocity Frequent Flyer Gold and Platinum members and Virgin Australia Business Class guests flying to Abu Dhabi. Guests flying on Etihad or Virgin through codeshare and partner airlines also get access to the lounge.
