Le Belvédère Bel Air Estate, this is the house Bella and Gigi Hadid grew up. The entire 48,000-square-foot estate in Bel Air is designed and built by their developer father Mohamed Hadid in neo-classical European style. Le Belvédère is one huge property that sits on 2.2-acres of land that is surrounded by a 36-foot-high Jerusalem stone wall that stretches 1,000 feet. There were reports back in 2010 that Hadid sold this for $50 million, seems that really didn’t happen.
Simple living is not an option here. This is one gilded mansion where is bigger and expensive than anything you have ever seen. The three-story home has 10-bedrooms and 14-bathrooms. Other facilities include 16 fireplaces made from imported Italian marble, a private elevator, and a 20-car garage.
If you are into intricate wood carvings, the asking $85 million price will get you hand-carved wood details and Bavarian walnut floors. Lavish interiors also include painted ceilings and elaborate chandeliers.
Opulence is the word frequently used to describe this estate, as you can see with reason. It all starts with the main level grand entrance where they showcase a curved staircase and chandelier. Once inside there are formal and informal living and dining rooms, powder rooms and an office with built-in bookshelves.
The lower level is all about having a good time. It has everything from a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, a magnificent Moroccan room with a Turkish bath, a full gym, a 50-seat theater, a game room and a grand ballroom with room for up to 250 people.
The upper level is all personal space. There is a master suite with his-and-her bathrooms and dressing rooms, an office, and an outdoor terrace.
The 1.5-acre garden features a 70-foot infinity pool, a swan pond, a swan pond, a motor court entrance and a 100-person courtyard for entertainment. This is plenty acreage to wander around and admire its rose gardens, sculptures, and fountains. All looking a lot like a French Chateau.
