Brigitte Bardot’s former Paris apartment is back on the market with an asking price of $8.25 million (€6.1 million). Bardot lived at the place with her third husband, millionaire Gunter Sachs. That marriage as we all know was a turbulent one that lasted only three years.
Bardot was known as a person that shun luxury and preferred a simple life, but this apartment is full luxury and opulence. And it is located in the wealthy neighborhood of 16th arrondissement of Paris, which is the Paris equivalence of Upper East Side in New York and Kensington Garden in London.
Built in 1902, the property features 3 bedrooms with attached bathrooms, dining room, entrance hall and an eat-in kitchen. Located in the basement, you’ll find for your entertainment a discothèque and a large billiards room, as well as office space. The apartment also boasts high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, and marble floors.
Oval shaped glass-roofed discothèque was inspired by the iconic Chez Régine club in Paris. But the best feature of the place is the beautiful inner courtyard. We can only speculate what else Brigitte might have done there on a beautiful sunny day, other than sipping a glass of champagne.
This may have been the ideal location for affairs of the heart for Brigitte Bardot, but you can make it a cozy home for a family with children.
