This is very fancy. They call it the Hot Tug and this is no ordinary tug, this is a floating hot tub. With the help of 6-8 friends you can set sail on this tub with champagne and caviar to fuel the trip down a river or a canal. First introduced in 2012 by designer Frank de Bruijn of Rotterdam, Netherlands, the luxury Hot Tug is now available in the US for $25,000. It is primarily made from wood with glass fiber reinforced polyester adding it more strength.
The hot tub part of the Hot Tug works with the help of a stainless steel stove and a single wall pipe which helps to keep the water as warm as you need. Other features include two drink containers, an electric motor, four Zenith batteries, a Victron charger, a waterproof storage place, a swim ladder, two mooring lines, a navigation light and an H-bitt with display and control for electric engine. It can also be powered by a standard outboard motor.
You can sit back, relax and sail away in the river or you can take the Hot Tug to your olympic size pool and have a cool pool party – relax while sipping champagne. Just so you know, if you happened to be in the English capital, Runnymede-on-Themes is offering special cruises down the river Thames on a Hot Tug – now that would be an awesome experience. I would like to see a company thinking outside the box in NYC also offer something similar down the Hudson river.
