Bentley Home Collection’s first appearance at the Salon del Mobile in itself is significant enough, but the vibrant collection they have presented has blown everyone’s creative minds collectively away. The British luxury automaker and its design partner Italy’s Luxury Living Group has taken wraps off a collection made of exquisite materials by best craftsmen that represent true Bentley style.
As with previous collections, design duo architect Carlo Colombo of Luxury Living and Bentley’s head of Product Design, Daniele Ceccomori worked together to bring this unique collection to life. Natural colors mocha, cognac, taupe, quartz, grey, and camel were the norm for previous Bentley Home Collections. But, this time they’ve expanded the color palette to include bright colors purple-red, burgundy, brick red and blue.
Pinstripes and houndstooth fabrics they introduced in January with the collection presented at the Maison & Objet Fair has retained its place along with luxury velvets and soft cashmere in 3-D patterns. Main fabrics used in upholstery feature hand-knotted carpets in fine wools, silk, and pashmina. Adding even more luxury to an already ultra-luxury collection, the upholstery collection comes with blankets hemmed in mink. Bentley’s signature quilted diamond pattern and elegant padded texture are part of the elegantly made leather upholstery.
Some of the items like Butterfly sofa and armchair, Minster sofa and Ambassador cabinet we’ve already seen at the Maison & Objet Fair in Paris in January. New items introduced at Salon del Mobile include Madeley dining table, Kendall chair wrapped in new material and Chaise Lounge from the Richmond collection. From new items, pricing is available only for the Madeley dining table at $ 30,820.
