Billionaire-ruler Sultan of Brunei is well-known as a collector of exotic sports and classic cars. He has one of the world’s most expensive, rarest and largest collection of cars that include Bentleys, Ferraris, Bugattis, Lamborghinis, and Rolls-Royces. Most of them are made exclusively for him. However, he has recently unloaded a few of them. The Porsche about to hit the car lot is one of the 160 to 200 he owns from the same automaker. A certified pre-owned car from a royal does not come cheap, be ready to burn £194,900 or about $327,000.
UK’s JZM Porsche Sales has the responsibility to find a buyer for the Porsche 964 Turbo that comes with an X88 pack. It is powered by a larger 3.6-liter flat six-cylinder engine which generates around 360 bhp. It also boasts bigger brakes, an upgraded final drive and better-looking Speedline split rim wheels. When measured with the dyno, the car showed increases in horsepower at 402 and torque at 556 Nm, the increase is due to the X88 pack.
Its exteriors are painted in Horizon Blue and interiors feature Marine Blue leather. Other tidbits of the Porsche 964 Turbo says, it had a RUF electronic clutch system, but they have since removed it. It was originally ordered by the Sultan at Porsche Centre Malaysia, to get the RUF system installed he has sent it to the Porsche specialists at RUF.
