There is a perfect marketplace for these gold-colored forged dragon rims, just a few thousand miles away. There is a lot of time and effort gone to create these shiny rims and that is the only reason Rimsbook priced them at $7,800. The only problem is they are over the top to put on any car. I can’t even think of a Hip Hop Bling aficionado going for these to pimp his ride.
Perfect place for these rims as I almost mentioned above is far east and this BMW is a perfect match for them. Rimsbook might even find a buyer willing to pay the full price. Intricate work on rims is very detailed including the scales on the coiled dragons.
Interestingly, Rimsbook’s reputation is not very stellar when it comes to giving their products a proper finish. They seem to have changed that shortcoming by overcompensating finish for these forged dragon rims. They are available in different sizes, but only in 5 bolt layout.
There is a bright spot in all this if you are interested. Company CEO Richard Lv announced a price cut, $1,000 discount for 22” size rims. If this is not going to interest you I don’t what else would. I will not encourage anyone to buy these as Christmas gifts even a die hard car enthusiast.
However, Rimsbook should look into doing an advertising campaign in China and Hong Kong during Chinese New Year. I seriously think they will get a better response from that region.
