Supercar lovers of both virtual and real world could not have asked more for Christmas, a concept dummy car making it in the real world. As we all know Mercedes-Benz showed off a hollow Mercedes AMG Vision Gran Turismo a few days ago at the Los Angeles Motor Show. Now we hear, we are going to see the real world version of it soon – just that it won’t come from the stables of Mercedes-Benz directly.
Florida-based J&S World Wide Holdings plan to make a special edition of just 5 cars of it from using 2014 SLS AMG GT as its base. Jeff Halverson led team will shed 200 lbs in weight by using carbon fiber for the body. It will come with custom ADV.1 forged alloy wheels, interiors customized to the color choice of buyer, custom exhaust, and a retractable rear spoiler. Exteriors will also get a chrome paint makeover.
No changes to the 6.3-liter engine are planned, which comes with 583 hp and 7-speed dual clutch transmission. But with 200 lbs lighter it could go faster than the advertised speed.
At $1.5 million a car, knowing your market is important. So J&S World Wide is sending 2 of the 5 cars to the Middle East, 2 to Europe and 1 will stay in the US. Hurry up to book yours by calling Jeff at 321-215-5116 or emailing him here.
