An everyday use fixed bicycle wrapped in precious crocodile leather – yes. Watch Life With Curiosity, or WLWC has wrapped a bicycle in luxurious black crocodile leather. According to the France-based brand, it takes a total of 90 hours to wrap the frame, handlebar, saddle, handle brakes and pedals with four crocodile skins aged 8 to 10 years. WLWC is not shy to cover anything in crocodile skin, they recently gave the same extravagant treatment to skateboards also.
Other high-quality components of the bike come from well-known manufacturers in the industry. To highlight the scales of skin WLWC has used a custom a made aluminium frame and fork. Its crank and brake handles are from Paul, while handlebars came from Cinelli Pista. As for other parts, wheel hubs from Wins X Bishop, wheels from H, AV brakes from X5 and the Stem came from Thompson.
Anything wrapped in luxurious crocodile leather doesn’t come cheap (ask ladies about Hermès crocodile leather bags) – this bicycle will set you back quite a few bucks too – €14,500 or about $20,000. That’s enough money to buy one of KIA’s top end cars.
