Last October at the Paris Auto Show, PSA Peugeot Citroën announced the parting of DS-brand from all things Citroën and becoming a separate premium brand under PSA roof. With that separation now complete, and its full year as a separate brand ahead of them DS launched its first creation yesterday – the DS 3 Ines de la Fressange Paris. A design collaboration with the luxury life style brand Ines de la Fressange Paris, the limited edition DS 3 is offered in four environment-friendly engines with a €23,950 (about $28,000) staring price tag.
The DS 3 Ines de la Fressange Paris is a compact and stylish city car designed with ladies in mind. It boasts a unique color combination of Onyx black plus French national colors red, white and blue. Its body color is “Encre blue” and the roof is painted with “Onyx black”. The wheel cover logo and rear view mirror covers are painted in “Rouge Ines” red. Other exterior highlights include 17-inch diamond cut wheels and Xenon headlights with sequential indicators.
Personalized interiors feature “Rouge Ines” red on the dashboard and front seat headrests. Its elegant design, color and material selections are developed in coordination with Ines de la Fressange Paris. Former top model Ines de la Fressange is the creative director of the lifestyle brand that bears her name.
PSA first introduced the car as a concept at last year’s Paris Auto Show. In addition to as a hatchback, the DS3 Ines de la Fressange will also be offered as a convertible.
