More military-looking vehicle than an SUV, Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 blew everyone minds away when they introduced the six-wheel beast of a vehicle back in March. But, underneath its military tank-like tough exterior is a softie heart of a car. Well, if you are the proud owner of one of these machines, now you have the option to make G-Wagon a real beast in the wilderness or in a tough hood. That’s what the tuning company from Lone Star state, Texas Armoring, promise to deliver in exchange for a cool $1.35 million.
To make G63 AMG 6×6 impenetrable by bullets, Texas Armoring fix it with B6 + grade armory. This will give protection from any bullets sprayed from AK-47, M-16 and other similar power rifles in your neighborhood or whatever exotic troubled hotspot you cruising for a bruising. The company claims their armoring has the ability to stop a 7.62×63-millimeter (also known as a .30-06 Springfield) bullet in its tracks.
Tuning from Texas Armoring do not go the distance Brabus has gone with the engine or other mechanics of G63 AMG 6X6, shown at Frankfurt Motor Show. Still, armoring added an additional half-a-ton weight to take the total weight over five tons. The base price of Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is $512,000, armoring package bump the cost to $1.35 million. If you must bulletproof your G63 AMG 6X6, Texas Armoring is happy to oblige for $1.35 million and you get five 100% differential locks as one of the key features of the package.
