The Russian smartphone and gadget accessories maker Caviar has just unveiled the second part of their iPhone 8 centered “The Property of Russia” collection. While we have to wait a couple of more days to lay our eyes on the real iPhone 8, accessory makers like Caviar are giving us a glimpse of how to dress up the latest and greatest version of Apple creation. The most interesting item in the collection is a mink fur-clad iPhone 8 with a $3,800 (Russian Ruble 218,000) price tag.
Fit for a Tsar (or modern-day Oligarchs), the Caviar Black Diamond Fur Mink iPhone 8 (or iPhone X) brings all the mink goodness to the smartphone that includes soft and smooth fur to keep your fingers warm during bone-chilling Russian winter. There is also gold details on the case including Russia’s Coat of Arms and a small plate with the words Hymn of Russia.
Hard to imagine male iPhone users with this mink-covered version, but there would be plenty of demand for this from fashion-forward female users. For Caviar, it is not From Russia with Love, it is always Caviar Loves Russia and its notorious ruling class including Vladimir Putin and, by extension, Donald Trump. In the last couple of years we have covered some of their gold-wrapped special editions – take a look while you wait for the Caviar Black Diamond Fur Mink iPhone X.
