Wimbledon Afternoon Tea At The Dorchester With Treats In The Shapes Of Tennis Rackets And Balls

Dorchester Hotel Wimbledon Champagne Tea

“Grass is for the cows” said Manuel Santana and it was often quoted by clay court specialist Ivan Lendl. We disagree because grass is perfect for serve and volley tennis. Wimbledon, the world’s premier tennis tournament (grass or otherwise!) starts on June 29th in London at the All England Club. As you know it is not all about tennis during the Wimbledon fortnight, make sure to enjoy everything else London has to offer including cakes and champagnes. Head over to the Dorchester Hotel on Park Lane to check out their special Wimbledon Afternoon Tea designed by Executive Chef Henri Brosi. They are ready to serve lovely treats made in the shapes of tennis rackets, yellow balls, white towels and grass courts.

Delicious sweet treats on the menu include a strawberry champagne tarte, a mango and lime delice and a milk chocolate mousse change-over. Optionally you can order fresh strawberries and cream. On the savory side they serve finger sandwiches for you to nibble. Afternoon tea staple homemade scones are served with jam and clotted cream.
