There is nothing wrong with binge eating desserts, especially if they are this beautiful and tastes heavenly. If you happened to be in the neighborhood of Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong after May 1st, I suggest you make the effort to stop by at the Lounge and Bar on Level 102 to enjoy the sumptuous new dessert spread named, Sweet Soirée French Dessert Buffet. The eye-catching and mouthwatering desserts are creations of Gaël Moutet, Assistant Pastry Chef of the Ritz Carlton. Moutet, known as Monsieur Mille-feuill has made a name himself by making layered desserts.
On the menu are such treats Tarte au Citron, Pistachio Pave Hazelnut Chocolate Financier with Earl Grey and Raspberry Verrine. However highlight of the spread is Moutet’s mille-feuill, sandwich between three layers of puff pastry comes the smooth cream fillings in flavors Mango, bourbon, chestnut and chocolate. Adding a bit more excitement is the fact that it is prepared right in front of the guests and that Moutet will also be there to take guests on a journey to discover mille-feuille.
