Pierre Marcolini x Maison Kitsuné Collection – A Bento Box Full Of Chocolates

Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini has teamed up with Maison Kitsuné for a special edition collection. The highlight of the Pierre Marcolini x Maison Kitsuné Collection is its bento style box wrapped in tengui, a traditional Japanese fabric with a fox (Kitsuné) print and a furoshiki bow. The innovative box comes packed with delicious multi-colored heart-shaped chocolates, old-fashioned chocolates and of course their famous macarons.

The white and yellow striped box consists of two trays with room for six pieces of chocolates on each. Heart shaped chocolates are not just for Valentine’s Day, I would say they are released in time for Mother’s Day too, which arrives in few weeks.

Starting today (April 7, 2015) Pierre Marcolini x Maison Kitsuné Collection available for pre-order online and at Collette in Paris. Collette’s, however, do not offer delivery service for pre-orders, picking up is the only option. The other option is to wait until April 22 when they will be available online at Pierre Marcolini and at their shops as well as at Kitsuné shops and café in Paris. Each box comes with a $45 (€31) price tag.
