I never get tired of afternoon tea, macarons and beautiful pastries, and cupcakes. This time we have a couple of pictures to salivate from Pierre Hermé Paris, which officially opens a shop at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Hong Kong on January 17th. French pastry chef Hermé’s sweet creations are known around the world, he is even known as “the Picasso of Pastry”. There are two Pierre Hermé shops already in Hong Kong, still it is vital to open one at the luxury Ritz-Carlton, a place visited by affluent travelers all year.
At his latest venue Pierre promises to deliver nothing but “the very best of haute pâtisserie.” This is not the first time two organizations are working together, last summer they teamed up to bring afternoon tea. Pierre Hermé also opened a shop at Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo not so long ago. All this means two companies are ready to work further to bring a world of tastes through macarons and chocolates.
They plan to offer further items like gourmet gifts – in this regard store will carry jams by Christine Ferber and a range of exclusive gift hampers designed by Patrick Jouin. Hotel guests in the top suites are in line to receive delicious Pierre Hermé creations as welcome gifts. Shop also has a license to conduct business directly with selected restaurants at the hotel.
Year-long collaborative events like specially-themed afternoon teas and white truffle hunts are already planned. Their first big event of the year is the Valentine’s Day Afternoon Tea, which will be offered at Café 103 with a menu that include Lavender Smoked Salmon sandwiches and Dark chocolate mini pork burgers, Orange Chocolate Choux and Jasmine Dulcey Dome.
Shop will be located at the arrival lobby on Level 9 with inviting displays of sweets, which is sure draw attention from guests right away. For information and bookings for Pierre Hermé Paris call 2263 2232 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
