We have seen Ladurée collaborate with diverse sections in business to create special edition macarons. It was only recently the gourmet French bakery worked with fashion house Nina Ricci to create a special macaron and the complementing fragrance “La Tentation de Nina Ricci.” Ladurée’s newest partner in macaron collaboration is Marie-Hélène de Taillac, the Paris jeweler with an eye for pastel colors.
The simple and elegant macaron collection box resembles de Taillac’s signature Rainbow necklace that features gold sequins and multicolored briolette gemstones. The box contains six colored macarons with flavors handpicked by de Taillac that include chocolate, cassis violet, rose petal, lemon, orange blossom and pistachio.
“Macarons précieux” (Precious macarons) will be available from February 21 in Ladurée’s global boutiques for $24.
