This festive season must be a wonderful time to be in Hong Kong, especially at the Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s famous MO Bar. The hotel and Ladurée, the inventor of the double-decker macaron, have teamed up to give an unforgettable afternoon tea show to hotel’s loyal patrons to celebrate the holidays. The highlight of the festivities is the exclusive Platinum Mandarin Macaron, Ladurée made for the hotel. A range of divine treats created by Chef Richard Ekkebus and his team will be available along with Ladurée Macarons. The festive event runs from 1 December to 7 January 2014.

Macaron tree will be one of the main attractions, if not the main attraction among hotels Christmas decorations in the coming weeks. Visitors will be able to locate the 3-meter tree in the hotel lobby, which would give them plenty of photo opportunities to pose with the famous macaron tree.
