Sneaker materials becoming a favorite of luxury shoe brands for non-sneaker shoes. Cole Haan has borrowed something from their former stakeholder Nike – Flyknit material. Brand’s new ZERØGRAND Stitchlite Wingtip Oxfords is a very stylish shoe and a perfect match for business-casual attire.
Innovative oxfords are crafted from a single piece of stretch knit material, which gives it the lightness similar to sneakers and lots of breathability. Cole Haan has given both wingtips and oxfords a new interpretation with this shoe – without using leather. Anyway, a bit of leather detail appears at the heel and tongue.
Thanks to its finished jersey stitch in the topline, putting on and taking them off is a very easy task. Another impressive detail is the 1mm pointelle stitches on toe medallion, which helps increase the airflow in the toe box area. Its Flex Outsole is designed to imitate the movement of the foot to offer most comfort when in motion. The final piece of detail is its sole, which is a combination of EVA midsole and a rubber outsole with rubber pods for extreme traction.
High-tech yet extremely elegant ZERØGRAND Stitchlite Wingtip Oxfords are offered in colors black, orange, gray, blue and white. For such a high-end shoe it comes with a very affordable price tag, just $180.
