Officially it’s still winter, but here in the East Coast, at least in New York, it feels like spring has sprung. It’s still February and we’ve already had few 60 degree days. Well, all this means for certain fashionable ladies it is time to take their warm weather clothes and accessories out, that includes things like fans. Those of you in need of a wardrobe update and upgrade, Bloomingdale’s have a $250 new stylish GUCCI paper fan.
Another one of GUCCI creative director Alessandro Michele’s creative ideas, the paper fan is now stocked along with brand’s handbags at Bergdorf Goodman’s website. Except for the hefty price tag, you are not going to find much different on this fan than others.
The fan, made in Japan features a painted owl on one side and “GUCCI” written in Katakana on the other side. Made of paper with a wooden handle, with the fan GUCCI is trying to expand the vegan trend in luxury accessories. Fan measures about 9.7″W X 14.8″H.
If a $250 paper fan is not extravagant enough, Bergdorf Goodman also sells a $450 GUCCI silk fan named Gothic Modern Future Fan. This version, made of printed silk sports an ebony handle and decorated with a silk tassel. The fan features a painted flower on both front and back, and “Modern Future” on one side and “GUCCI” on other side written in Gothic font.
Both fans are now available to pre-order online with an estimated shipping date no later than May 05, 2017. Also available at Neiman Marcus.
