I am a big fan of Charlotte Olympia shoes – no, I don’t own any, but I love them anyway. So, when I recently saw all the stories about new Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross’ luxury velvet slippers, I really thought he is a big fan of Charlotte’s. I thought wrong, his favorite slippers are made by Palm Beach, Florida-based Stubbs & Wootton. They have one thing in common with British-brand Charlotte Olympia. According to their about page, they borrowed last names of 18th-century English artists Mr. George Stubbs and Mr. John Wootton. Back in the day Messrs. George and John specialized in painting sporting scenes and horses. Stubbs & Wootton slippers are made in Europe, so you know they are of best quality and offer the best comfort.
Stubbs & Wootton offer slippers for ladies, gents, and kids. They also have an accessories line. You can also place orders for bespoke items. Handcrafted in Spain from best available materials they are leather lined and soled with upper in velvet and linen. Just like Charlotte Olympia, these slippers feature fun designs, even for gentlemen. The ladies collection includes slippers, mules, espadrilles and sneakers.
