LVMH-owned French luxury menswear brand Berluti traveled east looking for inspirations for their SS 2015 collection. Brand’s creative director Alessandro Sartori has introduced plenty of Origami detailing to accessories as much as he did to the clothing line. One of those accessories is the Origami Bag. Use of traditional Japanese art allowed Sartori to be creative in more ways than using just beautiful leather. With minimal cutting, sewing and linings, and saving materials he was able to design a light weight bag.
Crafted from one large piece of soft calfskin, the Origami Bag sports detachable straps that allows it to be carried like a tote or a backpack. Biggest advantage arrives courtesy of its Origami-inspired design, at the end of the day when you are done, just fold and leave it aside. The bag is perfect accessory for a style conscious guy to carry just about anywhere – from work to travel and beyond.
Berluti offers the Origami Bag in light brown, dark brown and olive. It will be available from 15th February in Berluti stores.
