Michelle Williams has returned for an encore with Louis Vuitton for their summer handbag ad campaign. This year she’ll be highlighting the city bag collection of French luxury brand that includes the Capucines, the Alma and a new version of the Lockit.
The campaign photographed by Peter Lindberg features Williams posing as a classic ‘Parisienne,’ from the 1950’s in a series of relaxed looks with the Lockit. For the Capucines she’s more ladylike and a bit sexy at the same time in a lace outfit. The Alma campaign is more about its colorful collection of Epi leather, the playful campaign includes Williams sitting on a mountain of colorful Louis Vuitton trunks.
According to Louis Vuitton, this campaign represents “three different facets of femininity”. Carine Roitfeld was in charge of the styling, hair care by Sam McKnight and makeup was done by Stéphane Marais.
Williams, 33 recently finished filming a big screen adaptation of “Suite Française” by Irène Némirovsky. The new bag collections are due to go on sale in July in stores and online. These ads are due to release in the US this Sunday.
