Nicolas Ghesquière’s first collection for the House of Louis Vuitton is ready for its loyal fashionistas. The Fall/Winter 2014 handbag collection as you might remember when it was introduced is heavily influenced by Louis Vuitton’s trunks and travel heritage. The Petite Malle and the Malletage bags Ghesquière introduced delighted history buffs and fashionistas alike of the fashion house to no end during and after the fashion show. Let’s take a look at the Petite Malle bags that come in an assortment of materials and colors, and adorned with three crosses signed by photographer Albert Kahn.
Exceptional Louis Vuitton craftsmanship along with style takes center stage of Petite Malle bag. All Petite Malles feature a black removable calfskin leather strap, one open pocket, golden brass hardware including the striking S-lock (with palladium in Metallic Epi version) and magnetic closure. The Petite Malle interiors are lined with luxurious lambskin and measure 7” x 4”.7 x 1”.5. The Malle is available in three versions – Monogram and Damier canvas, Epi leather and Metallic Epi. The bag is not available for US online customers yet.
