Le Palais Clutch From House Of Borgezie – Yours For A Cool $177,000

House of Borgezie Le Palais Clutch 1

By now we are familiar with Christopher Shellis and his creations for the House of Borgezie – they are equal parts Borgezie and Borgia. His latest creation, a clutch named Le Palais fashioned after the gates of Buckingham Palace comes with a price tag of £105,000 (around $177,000). Le Palais is one of the most expensive handbags ever to arrive in the fashion world. A perfect companion for one of Borgezie’s previous creations the Contessa Wafer stiletto, this diamond and gold clutch also arrives with a 1,000-year guarantee. That also means Le Palias can stay in the family as an heirloom for a thousand years even after Borgezie is long gone. Christopher thinks his clutch should reside as part of the crown jewels collection in the Tower of London.

Made from 18 karat white and yellow gold, it also comes with the option to have one side encrusted with 345 diamonds. Features of the bag includes a unique sliding secret lid and it can easily hold few indispensable things like a mobile phone, lipstick and car keys. It has taken a team of skilled craftsmen, goldsmiths and diamond setters over 100 hours to create the clutch bag.

In addition to it being a matching clutch bag to Contessa Wafer stiletto, Shellis also thinks Le Palais goes well with another of his creations, the Borgezie Diamond Basque belt. Version without diamonds is priced at £60,000 (approxi. $110,000).
