Gisele Bündchen knows very well how to use social media for her and her employer’s advantage. Here is another example of her workings on Instagram. Brazilian super model has posted images from her latest advertising campaign – joining such superstars Nicole Kidman, Brad Pitt, Carole Bouquet, Audrey Tautou and Marilyn Monroe in endorsing Chanel No. 5. The campaign titled “The One That I Want” have a full-length video directed by none-other-than film director Buz Luhrmann to be released tomorrow, however they’ve released an eight-second teaser yesterday.
The teaser video shows Bündchen surfing, posing in a gorgeous gold-sequined dress and playfully spraying Chanel No. 5 in the company of a little girl. Finally she’s shown running down a dark New York City alley that has illuminated entwined C’s and No. 5. The campaign photographed by Patrick Demarchelier shows Gisele resting on an illuminated No. 5. Other sneak-peak photographs released include Gisele in a long-sleeved Chanel navy wet suit carrying a surfboard sporting interlocked C’s.
“One moment she’s on the beach and the next she’s in a frock (from the 2015 Cruise collection) at a photoshoot,” Luhrmann explained at a screening in Paris. Not to be outshine by Gisele, Luhrmann inserted himself in the commercial as a photographer and had this to say about it “the critics have been harsh on the guy playing the photographer.”
Chanel’s new muse gushed about working with Buz Lurhmann and the crew. On Instagram along with photos she said “So excited to introduce a behind the scene picture of my next campaign for @chanelofficial. #chaneln5 #theonethatiwant.”
