Bentley has partnered with number of luxury and fashion houses to offer host of products including the recently announced collaboration with Vertu. Fellow British luxury car maker Aston Martin is doing the same, they have teamed up with Australian jeweler John Calleija to create a limited edition jewelry line based on one of their best made cars of all time, the One-77. The Calleija for Aston Martin collection inspired by the carbon fiber chassis and the aluminium body of the car will be limited to 77 pieces from each design.
For the collection Calleija has created a unique new gemstone cut named ASTAR based on the iconic shape of the Aston Martin’s front grille. The entire collection features gemstones with the new cut, each gem is hand facetted, Aston Martin notes they are as special as the cars themselves. Hand crafted jewelry designed by Calleija under guidance of Aston Martin Design Director Marek Reichman includes for ladies a necklace, ear rings, rings and for gents sterling silver cufflinks and rings.
Speaking about the Calleija for Aston Martin collection Calleija said, “One-77 vehicle uniquely combines engineering flair with the finest craftsmanship and is a spectacular fusion of high technology and time honored tradition. Calleija’s true passion is bespoke, handmade and individually created works of jewelry with the finest design and dedication to detail, that’s the very essence of our association.”
Pricing starts at $1,190 for the Blue Topaz and sterling silver cufflinks and the Aria necklace with Australian Argyle Pink Diamonds is the most expensive at $395,500.
