What other company is better equipped to drive charity efforts of The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) than supercar maker Ferrari? In collaboration with LVMH-owned Veuve Clicquot, Ferrari has launched a limited edition champagne box set – the Veuve Clicquot Maranello Edition Set, a gift set comprising three Jeroboam of Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. Ferrari has covered each bottle with the same leather they use in their car interiors. Champagne bottles are packed in individually handcrafted wooden boxes decorated in red, gray and blue, and feature automakers famed prancing horse along with numbered authentication plaque designed by celebrated French engraver Arthus Bertrand.
The three bottles are designed to celebrate Ferrari’s three “Tailor Made’ universes: Scuderia the red pillar – the art of racing and the highest level of performance; Inedita the gray pillar – inciting the vision of the future; and Classica the blue pillar – the exclusivity and elegance of antiquity.
Limited to just 20 sets only one is available to sell in the US and it’s auctioned through CharityBuzz. Currently, the set has a bid of $3,150, the estimated value of the Veuve Clicquot Maranello Edition Set is $10,000. The auction is set to end on August 12 at 2 pm EST. All proceeds from the sale will go to the CFDA.
